About the event

Who's ready for spring? Join us for a weekend adventure to celebrate sunshine and longer days with other super cool, outdoors-lovin'adults.

The beauty of this weekend is that you can be as social  as you feel like in the moment. There's plenty of space to walk, explore or to come back to home base to hang out with other campers.

We'll be pitching our tents at the gorgeous and remote Homegrown Hideaways. To learn more about the space, click here. We'll have access to fire pits, updated outhouses, a bath house (with showers and flush toilets),  and the community kitchen. Homegrown Hideaways is a farm with all the beauty of the mountains, babbling brooks and some farm animals too.  There's also disc golf, hula hoops, a croquet set, and a creek full of geodes to hunt.

Our adventure weekend will start with check-in and set-up starting Friday at 3 p.m. at Homegrown Hideways. Get there when you can, but we recommend before dark, due to the remote space. We'll attempt a rugged 1.5 mile camp trail loop the first night - which is totally optional - you can also opt to play disc golf, walk around on your own, or just chill in a hammock. On Saturday, we'll start the day with a hike at the Berea Pinnacles in the morning, and come back to camp for lunch and chill time in the afternoon,  At 2:30 p.m. we'll pack up and head to Owsley Fork Resevoir, where GoKy will meet us for paddling fun!  We'll be able to explore the resevoir for a few hours with kayaks or stand up paddleboards at our own pace for 2 hours. Then head back for a group dinner at the campsite, followed by free time and campfires.

Sunday we'll pack up and head to Anglin Falls for short but challenging up and back waterfall hike. Feel free to join us in Berea for a good-bye lunch, head to the new nearby Silver Creek Bike Park or say your good-byes and head home!
