About the event
Who's up for a bit of a backpacking challenge? This event is for anyone 13 and up who have backpacking experience and want to try a fun new hike with other backpacking enthusiasts.
Friday night we'll get right at it with an approximate 5-mile hike to campsite 3. For those who can't get to Shawnee by 2:30p.m., there is an option to park and meet at the campsite later. The second day is an approximately 8.5-mile hike from camp 3 to camp 1, with stops for lunch on the trail. Down time will be available, with an optional sunset yoga stretch. Sunday you'll arise and finish out the trip approximately 6 miles to the parking lot, and will once again enjoy lunch on the trail. Thats a lot of awesome hiking!
Friday will include:
- Guided Hike to camp
- Dinner at camp
- Campfire activies
Saturday will include:
- Guided 8.5 mile hike
- Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
- Yoga Session
Sunday will include:
- Breakfast, Lunch
- Guided 6-mile hike
