Women, Wine + Wilderness 2023

This one is for the girls! 

Join Arrow Adventure for our annual Women, Wine and Wilderness backpacking event in a whole new place!  WWW is all about YOU being confident in the outdoors, learning essential backpacking skills, making space for mental health and bonding with other women who connect with the outdoors.

Join us at Big South Fork in the midst of fall magic, the optimal time for leaves to turn and cooler temperatures settle in. We'll begin our journey at Bandy Creek Campground (approx 4 hours from Cincinnati), where we'll start our day with some short hikes and explorations, then end the day with fireside backpacking  lessons and self-reflections at our group campsite. 

Saturday we'll get our packs on and set out on day one of our backpacking journey, approximately 7 miles. We'll set up camp at a backcountry site,  where attendees will be treated to special beverages and a sampling of backpacking meals.  Sunday we'll hike back to our starting point to end the adventure.

Included in this adventure are: 

Group Camp Fees

Friday Campsite Dinner;

Saturday Campsite Breakfast; 

Saturday Backpacking Dinner Buffet;

Backpacking Learning Sessions, including pack shakedown, filtering water, meal prep, wildlife prep, sanitation in the outdoors, Leave No Trace etiquette, food prep;

Campfire Self-Reflection Session;

Guided Hikes and Backpacking Sessions;

A pre-hike prep session an Happy Hour at Arrow Adventure;

An experience of a lifetime!

You'll need to provide: 

Lunch on Friday and Saturday;

Trail snacks that you love;

Breakfast on Sunday am; 

Transportation to/from Big South Fork (although we will establish a carpool location);

Purchase or rental of your gear.

A detailed agenda and packing list will be sent in advance of the journey.
