Niki Marengo
Niki is a passionate enthusiast of experiencing all that she can in the outdoors and connecting others to do the same. She started Arrow Adventure after her first backpacking trip on the Appalachian Trail, and realized how many people get stuck in the monotony of the everyday without living life! Her passions include backpacking, paddling, camping, spontaneous road trips, a yummy glass of cab, and shaking her groove thing at a live music show with good friends. She enjoys spending time with her sons, Eli and Dom, and her misbehaving pooch Hazel Mae. Niki is Wilderness First Aid Certified and a Leave No Trace trainer. She believes in minimizing our impact on the outdoors while enjoying what it brings to your mind, body and spirit.

Laura Taphorn
Laura’s adventurous spirit inspires others to escape comfort zones, overcome fears, coexist and tread lightly. She has taught outdoor education programs for over 20 years and has been teaching yoga classes to children and adults since 2012. Laura leads hiking and paddling trips for a variety of local organizations, and enjoys planning high adventure trips with her son’s boy scout troop. Laura is an assistant teacher at Struble Elementary. She has recently taken up salsa dancing with her hubby, with whom she has three children. One of her passions is to teach others how to heal the body one bite at a time, using food as a medicine.

Misti & Dustin Coulter
​Misti and Dustin have always enjoyed camping together and with family, but their enthusiasm for hiking started on their 10-year anniversary when they hiked 10 miles for 10 years. Some of their favorite adventures are visiting Turkey Run State Park, climbing Mt. Leconte and backpacking the Triple Crown in Virginia. Misti is a life insurance underwriter who enjoys weight lifting, living an active lifestyle, and sharing healthy recipes, and Dustin is a preschool intervention specialist who likes getting outside on a kayak and fishing. They have 2 children; one in college and one in high school, and will be sharing their passion for exploring with other duos and families.

Kristen Bjerke
Kristen is a lover of yoga in all its forms. She shares this passion by teaching a yin yoga class at her local studio. This year, she took up acro-yoga and quickly got hooked! She also thoroughly enjoys hiking in the woods with her dog, Cuba. By day, she works at a local greenhouse caring for a variety of houseplants. Her background in mental health counseling, combined with her experience with yoga, makes her a firm believer in the interrelationship between mental and physical well-being.

Shae Dillingham
Shae is a mountain biking enthusiast, and with his dad has taken on biking adventures everywhere from our local bike trails to Brown County Indiana, Tennessee, West Virginia, Colorado and Moab,Utah. Shae recently graduated from Talawanda High School and works in construction. He enjoys hanging out with friends, traveling and living a healthy and active lifestyle.

Rosie Santos
Rosie is a writer, adventurer, and ecotherapy practitioner with a gift for group facilitation, which inspires authentic self expression and meaningful connection. She has 12 years of leadership experience for some of the most prominent Greater Cincinnati non-profit and government agencies. She’s skilled at integrating social justice principles with organizational goals to yield transformational approaches to generate impact that can be felt, measured and seen. Rosie enjoys reading, collaging, kayaking, and backpacking.
